The story of Mystery Match – Puzzle Adventure revolves around Emma. Emma is a detective. One day she hears a gunshot coming from her family manor. She runs up to meet her father to see if he was hurt. Her father informs her that there was a masked man wearing red robe. He shot Emma's father on the foot and escaped with some of their valuables.

Now Emma is on a mission to find out who that mystery man was, how did he know about their family treasure and where did this chest full of treasure come from. Because her father has acquired the chest for a cheap amount of money and wasn't aware of the valuable items in it.

To investigate, Emma needs your help with playing match-3 games. You have to play these games level by level to progress into the story-line. Each level will consist of mini tasks and a certain number of moves. Complete the tasks before you run out of moves.

Apart from making match-3s, you can also create special boosters. These boosters will help you remove more than 3 gems at once. Match 4 gems to create glowing Beam Gem. When a match-3 is made with a glowing Beam Gem, it will collect all the gems of that row. Match 5 gems in "L" or a "T" shape. This will create Pulse Gem. When activated this will remove all its adjacent gems. When you match 5 gems in a line, it will create Pearl. When you swipe it with a gem, all its similar looking gems will be removed from the board. Combining 2 boosters will remove much more gems than using a single booster.

After your complete each level, you will be rewarded with a score, according to your performance and your unused moves. You will also be rated from 1-3 stars.
