In Pocket City Free you play as the mayor of a new small town. Your task is to design and build this town and eventually turn it into a booming metropolis.

At the beginning, you will be provided with a Town hall and a some cash. Using the available cash, you start with building residential zones to provide housing for citizens. Then construct well planned roads to connect the zones. After that create industrial zones. These will provide work opportunities for your people, so they will be able to earn an income and pay taxes.

In order to increase the cash flow even more, build commercial zones. Having local businesses will increase your income through business and sales taxes. To keep these zones active, you have to provide them with facilities like electricity, energy and water. You will also have to provide services for safety, traffic policing, health care and more.

Apart from basic city building, you can also complete mini tasks. Completing these tasks will earn you cash or XP rewards. Once you gain a certain amount of XP's, you can level up in this game. You can also conduct special events to take you city to the next level. Parties, rocket launches and responding to crimes and disasters are some of them.

As long as you keep you people happy, you will keep making money. If their needs are neglected the income will start to decrease and you'll end up with zero amount to spent on your city. In such situations you can take loans from the bank. But be aware, the interest rates could be 15% or more.
